Joy Bates holds a B.B.A. in Business from the University of Texas at Arlington and is an Alpha Chi Omega sorority alumnus. Her business background includes consulting for and managing physician groups, 20 years as a child care owner and director and 16 years in the mortgage banking business. During her tenure with Legacy, Joy has served as Controller, Director of Human Resources and most recently as Director of Plan Administration with LegacyCare™. Her background in H.R. allows her to customize the LegacyCare™ Real Estate Benefit Plan to each clients' needs. Joy's community activities and affiliations include Elementary, Junior High and High School P.T.A. boards, Junior League of Arlington, Junior High and High School booster clubs, Fatal Choices/shattered dreams Drunk Driving Awareness Program steering committee, National Association for the Education of Young Children, Arlington Texas Licensed Child Care board and Sunday School teacher. She was also awarded the P.T.A.'s Texas Life Member Award for outstanding service to youth.

Chad and Joy are the proud parents of three wonderful young adults and enjoy cooking, watching sports, traveling and boating in their spare time.
